Manchester United fans give player standing ovation and beg him not to leave the club

Paul Pogba’s love affair with Manchester United is not your kind of Titanic story, but it’s a rather turbulent one right from when he was a teenager under Sir Alex Ferguson.

The 28-year-old made a return to Old Trafford for the game against Everton, as United put four past a lacklustre Toffees side.

The France international was granted an extended break following his involvement in this summer’s European Championship but he returned to action against Everton. Pogba came on in the second half for his first and only pre-season clash in what was Manchester United’s final pre-season game of the summer.

Manchester United fans game Pogba an ovation during the warm-up, and the former Juventus star reciprocated the gesture with a wave to the fans.

Pogba’s reported move to PSG seems to have blown cold as the Paris club is now focused on signing Lionel Messi.
