STORY OF ANGYA CHILDREN WHO MIGRATED FROM CAMEROON TO LAGOS.
BY JOHN NUHU ABEGYE
Agyere the first son of the father disagreed with the father. He said, dad let's go now before it will be too late and the father replied him, let's go to where? If only you mean school, then is not possible. it's obvious you know we have nothing on ground then why seeking for immediate permission. Permission was not granted to him he proceeded and took a leave to Lagos not less than two years the younger ones also insisted that they also want to go to Lagos which left Angya with no option than to release them. When they arrived Lagos, they found their elder brother working but as a security guard which earns him a salary of (35) thousand naira as a monthly allowance. The younger ones also joined working as security guard of which they earn (21) thousands naira as monthly allowance.
AGYERE FIRST SALARY IN LAGOS
Immediately Agyere arrived Lagos, he saw all his childhood friends which they departed for years working in Lagos and almost all of them are fashion wearers. Which cut the mind of Agyere and automatically he become fashion_conscious he no choice left but to join the friend who use their salary to buy fashion. After twelve years, their father returned to Nigeria and discovered the second son has acquired National Diploma and he is planning to further who earn just twenty one thousands naira wen he was in Lagos as his monthly allowance. The last daughter also earns twenty one thousands naira only but, she's now, one of the the largest shop owner in his home town and will sooner become a landlady because, her house is under construction. After some years spent in Lagos, Agyere came back home with nothing rather than classical pictures on his phones.
ABISE YOUTH IN LAGOS.
We have numerous Abise youths that left to Lagos with different intentions. To be employed and be a remuneration earner but, the problem is not the remuneration but how to use it. The question now is are you like Agyere the first son of Angya? Or you are Shidoini and Awaku the second son and last daughter of Angya in Lagos?
MY ADVICE AND PRAYER FOR MY BELOVED WANU YOUTH IN LAGOS.
I called one of my friends that's equally a brother who resides there in Lagos who have stay there for more than ten years now. As soon as I called him, we greeted and I proceeded to ask him some question? Friend, you have leave in Lagos for more than ten years now, he replied yes! I don't mind asking him if he has any investment anywhere.
And I advice him if your mission there is for education or business because? Success does not rely on education alone, make sure u save more whenever you are back then you can proceed and he said yes is business, and he asked me he has chosen business if he may ask where do I want him to do this business (location)? He further said, he knows I will mention Abise, which can never be possible. I answer why not possible is it not your village? He said it is. Then why the word not possible?
He said, anyone who makes attempt in developing or to make a progress in that community never survived.
I reply him can u expatiate or justify such allegation?
He answered let me give you some few examples AWASE AGABISON was the youngest lecturer in Wanu nation as of then, where is he now? and DR ATUBASE who tried his effort so that Wanu should be counted among tribes that have professors where is he now? Even if I am going to start the business, I preferred doing that outside than to do it in my (our) home town.
Then I replied him saying, physically those people you mentioned are no more but, the legacy the left will forever remain with us. The journey they began the did not end just because they're nor more. We the younger ones that are coming up, will continue from where they stopped in other to have their vision and mission accomplished. Remember, we can't let our community down therefore, let be courageous.
We can save our generation yet on born so don't be panic. And for your information, we have so many ATUBASE on ground that are coming up and you're one of them.
Last time I login to my Facebook account, I saw a book written by one of our prominent and patriotic son of our community which is to tell you that, there are more to that fight. So, please take away that fear in your mind and be courageous, if there is anything u have to make your home a better place do it.
I look forward to the day that we will be counting Wanu Lagos based, that are landlord rather than does who show us fashion on media.
I look forward to the day that we will see Wanu Lagos based, as the richest business man in Wanu land at large.
I look forward to see Wanu Lagos based, who went to the institution of higher learning and acquired certificate and as well emerge as NAJUWA elected President I look forward to that day comes true.
I look forward to the day that, we will see the high rate of Wanu Lagos based, fall under the category of second son and third daughter of Angya in Lagos.
A piece of word to my friends out there.
Use your sense to walk, don't depend always on your legs to take you far.
Thank You and
God Bless Wanu Lagos Based.
