SAD NEWS As Taraba State University Student Dies In Hostel

 

Students of the TEDFund 2014, Block C, girls hostel of Taraba State University were left in a state of panic after a 200 Level student reportedly died in the hostel.

Tragedy struck on Sunday as a 200 Level student of Taraba State University, Jalingo reportedly died. Rhapsodi Affos Blog gathered that the student who was identified as Patience Thomas, 27 years old is Wurkum from Karim Lamido LG of the state.

According to a source in the school, A. Bazza, Miss Patience was a 200 Level student of Peace & Conflict Resolution, who was reportedly sick for a while but her roommates/schoolmates never reported to the student affairs or patron of the hostel about her deteriorating health condition till it got worse in the early hours of Sunday.

Our source added that the deceased had already died before she was rushed to the clinic. 

Some students who spoke to our reporter insisted that the deceased didn't die before getting to the clinic. Some students claim the deceased looks like a sickle cell anemia patient. According to our the source, the cause of her death is not yet known but an autopsy will determine the result.

As at the time of filing this report, her corpse has since been deposited at the morgue of the Taraba state specialist hospital, Jalingo.
